our mission

Our goal is to combine technology, market forces & the global supply chain to enable sustainable business ecosystems that contribute to social prosperity.

our story

Conceived throughout 2013 and officially launched in 2014, rootvalue is the result of a multi-sectorial collaboration of industry, government and academia. The initial task was to envision how the global supply chain could be turned into a vehicle of economic and social growth. This quickly turned to transparency as means to drive a self-regulating system of prosperity, which automatically led to focusing on how companies could use the latest technologies to achieve truly traceable and authenticated flows of products across the globe.

Rootvalue is not only channeling the know-how generated at the Fraunhofer IIS over the last 30 years, but it is also looking into the future by establishing strategic and operational links to the stakeholders and technologies derived from the upcoming European Satellite System- Galileo, which will open new possibilities with its unique set of features, particularly with Galileo's PRS (Public Regulated Service).
